Premcor Refining: naming, identity, & brand. The Clark Refining Group needed a new name, brand, and identity to signal a renewed focus on their core business--the producton of premium petroleum products. As part of a full suite of applications, I designed a logo with a stylized "P" encircled by a tapered spiral to suggest both the process of refining and Premcor's role as the core of the petroleum refining process. |
